NSW Parent Delegate report: M. Spacavento and B. Greensmith (written) provided information n the activities of the PWSA Australia. Early stage planning for the next Australasian conference has commenced. It is hoped to engage a professional conference organiser. It is likely to be held at the Gold Coast sometime October 2007. The next telephone meeting of the PWSA Aust. is to be 10th August 2005.

Barry Greensmith advised that he has been in contact with Pfizer regarding progress with Growth Hormone submission to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC). 5. Appointment of State Delegate to National Association
B. Greensmith's appointment as NSW State Delegate expired at the AGM. Considering a postal nomination and ballot was held 3 months prior to the AGM and only B. Greensmith was nominated, the nomination of B. Greensmith to continue in the position for a further two-year term was accepted. Seconded: J. Lowe.
Matters Arising:
It was discussed that the correct process for nominating the parent delegate was to distribute the position description and call for nominations with the notice of the AGM. It was noted that this procedure should be followed for the AGM in 2006.
- D. Robertson advised that he has a position description for the NSW delegate that he will forward to M. Apperley for distribution to B. Greensmith and M. Spacavento. The document outlines the obligation of the parent delegates to report back to the relevant state association.
- It was agreed that parent delegate feedback should be placed on the NSW association website as a way of disseminating the information to the members.
-M. Spacavento to raise the issue of state reporting at the next meeting of the PWSA Australia. Need to determine whether the feedback would be 2 or 4 times per year.
